Inspired by the California coast, Yosemite, Megève, Sölden, and SJW, my Winter Trees series blends my autumn and winter adventures together.
Cliff Hanger shows a whimsical and unexpected hope. A tree growing in an unusual place stretching towards the sun while another reaches towards the rain. One of my favourite things about California is the coastline. I’ve had a few friends and family members going through hard times recently. Even when times are tough, I have hope that they will work out for the best.
