Take the Edge Off

£300.00

My Horizons series is a group of paintings done intuitively with only a horizon in mind and no plan. The horizon is something that we admire from a distance, but can never reach. It simultaneously gives us hope and reminds us to live in the moment. The resulting works have reminded me of peaceful natural landscapes that bring a sense of both contentment and wistfulness.

This piece represents the stress that sometimes overwhelms us all being released. Whether through exercise, meditation, your tipple of choice, time in nature, putting on your favourite music or reading a good book, the flood of relief that you get from slowing down is represented in this waterfall landscape.

This piece is painted on a white A3 art paper.

Acrylic and wax crayon on paper.

Approx A3 (30cm X 42cm) (11.8in X 16.5 in)
