Road Less Travelled
My Horizons series is a group of paintings done intuitively with only a horizon in mind and no plan. The horizon is something that we admire from a distance, but can never reach. It simultaneously gives us hope and reminds us to live in the moment. The resulting works have reminded me of peaceful natural landscapes that bring a sense of both contentment and wistfulness.
Road less travelled is a piece that speaks to the joy I've felt spending several months devoted to being a full time artist. It's not the typical path and definitely hasn't been the easiest, but it's exactly where I needed to be.
