This piece was created in Russian River during a trip with friends. We played games and the title is a popular game from my childhood. The houses along the River all have to be put on stilts because the water line of the River can change so dramatically. The docks also have to be able to cope with droughts and floods. People found creative ways to bring joy to their spaces in inexpensive ways that may inevitably be destroyed by the rising water. It speaks to adapting to change and embracing the flow of the river and expresses feelings of freedom, fun and curiosity.
Frames are not included in purchase and are mocked up for illustration purposes only.
